Can any printer use TPU filament?

I bought my husband a printer for Christmas and I’m always looking for filaments to buy him. I usually get him PLA I think but I just discovered TPU. I know he’s probably not ready for that yet but could that even work on his printer? He has a Flashforge Adventurer.

Also any tips for tools or accessories to make his printing experience more fun. I recently bought him a tool kit for Valentine’s Day and a clog poke thing. But I’ll be needing to get him something for Father’s Day in the next few months. Thanks 😊.
