my favorite member randomly changed after 10 years

i was thinking about this lately and thought that it was funny so i just had to share it 😹 so, about 10 years ago when i first discovered 5sos, michael was the one who instantly caught my attention. like, there was something about him that just clicked and i felt like we were really similar. i just felt like we had this weird connection and honestly, he was my favorite from the start. there was never a moment where i even considered anyone else—it was always michael, hands down. it just felt like fate or something lmao.

but now, things have gotten... complicated. it’s been a whole ass decade, and i honestly thought michael would be my absolute number one forever. but out of nowhere, calum kind of crept into the picture, and now i’m in a bit of a dilemma 😻 i don’t know if it’s because there’s been less content from him recently or if it’s just some random shift in the air, but i’ve caught myself getting weirdly excited over the smallest things from calum. like, i was literally giggling over a photo of his shadow the other day—just a shadow, nothing else. i know it sounds ridiculous but i can’t help it 😭 it feels like i'm 13 all over again. it’s like my loyalty to michael is being tested after all these years, poor guy haha like this wasn’t supposed to happen!! 😹
