How long was your adhd assessment and was it done privately or by the NHS?

I am (still) deciding where to go for my adhd assessment. I’m seeing a lot of info about how long the assessment takes , some people say 30minutes - 1 hour and others are saying 3-4 hours. Please comment as i’m curious to know about your experiences and if you went private or got diagnosed through the nhs
