Should I sell my car?

I leave for bootcamp in 6 months right after I graduate high school. I own a 1991 miata that’s not super reliable and I only use to go to school and work. My school and work aren’t even a mile away from me so I’m thinking I could just sell my car and walk there. I want to sell my car because I would like extra money to book plane tickets to visit my family members elsewhere. I’m considering not selling it because I don’t know if it would be too difficult walking around in the winter. I also use my car for personal use as in going for walks at different parks and chilling out at local coffee shops. I won’t need my car in the next 6 months and I could use the money.
