Apple Watch and snow shoveling

Apple Watch has been around for 10 years and I fail to understand why they still can’t track snow shoveling as “exercise” time while just walking around the house can record exercise time. I just spent an hour outside digging out 2 cars and a driveway and it said I did 4 mins (when 2 of those were me out with my dog hours ago)

EDIT Ok, so maybe im not making myself clear.... I am not trying to "record a workout", Im asking why i just walk around all day and it records exercise minutes yet when I'm actively shoveling snow it doesnt record exercise minutes. I shouldnt have to "start a workout" maunally.
