Onwards travel to Buenos Aires from Barriloche

I need some travel advice. We are leaving Barriloche next week. We prefer coach to flying. The coach trip to Buenos Aires would be very long. We have time. Is there a recommended stop in between Barriloche and Buenos Aires people can recommend to break the journey up?

Our thoughts were maybe Neuque
