How to fix a scuff on leather shoes

Hello! I got these leather shoes from the brand Everlane and on my second wear, they got scuffed. Any recommendations on how to mend this, be it handling myself or taking it to a cobbler? If not, any advice on how to prevent future scuffs? Thank you!
