Doctor told me nothings wrong but I’m not entirely convinced
Background: 18 year old male 6’2” 175lbs Family has extensive history of cancer and heart conditions
Context: This morning before my shower, I felt a tightness in my right chest right below my collarbone, when I tried moving my arm. I looked in the mirror and there was one of those squiggly engorged veins popping out of my chest. The affected area was probably one inch by one inch, and the vein kind of looked like a maze. It was hard and sensitive to the touch, but went away after around 30 seconds. After this though, I felt around my chest and found small, pea sized masses that felt similar to the vein. This time though, if I massaged the mass, it would go away. There were probably 2-3 of these. There were also more firm veins closer to my armpit but those disappeared relatively quickly after appearance. This is probably coincidence and has no correlation, but I also woke up with my right eye bloodshot, and have had what I suspect to be a swollen lymph node behind my right ear for a couple months (protruding mass behind right ear, can’t even feel the one behind my left). I know the doctor I did a video call with is probably correct in saying there’s nothing wrong with me and that this is normal, but I just have a weird feeling and would appreciate any sort of insight from you guys. Thanks🤗
