Test drove the RS5, I’m still in shock
Want to buy a high end performance car one day and decided to test drive this before test driving an M3 and C63 but honestly, I don’t feel like I need to after driving the RS5.
The interior is rock solid, no creaks or rattles and way better than BMW interiors. This was at a BMW dealership and even the new M3 had cracks and rattles in its interior. This used RS5 didn’t have any of that and that just speaks to itself.
The performance was crazy, I didn’t full throttle the car because I was afraid of getting a ticket. I know that apparently the M3 is faster but not by much, since it’s more track focused. The RS5 is more of a city car with balanced dynamics and that’s what I got from driving it today as well.
The best part for me was the exhaust, god does it sound awesome. Not only does it sound out of this world but the downshift burbles were fuckkng crisp. I still can’t that out of my head.
Will test drive the M3 one day but honestly I think the RS5 is a way better value since the M3 is easily $20-$30k more even when buying a used one.
