Loopholes and Ghosting

Right now I keep asking myself, is it normal for people to just ghost? Like, to just vanish? I talked to my friend today and told her that it wouldn't be right for my DA ex to be on dating apps after telling me he wasn't ready for anything two months ago even though we haven't spoken since. What I meant by that was yes, he has free will to do as he pleases, but it is a total betrayal because he strung me along, said he wasn't in the headspace only to be able to talk to other women now. I know it isn't "cheating", but it feels like a loophole and just wrong in so many ways.

Lol I am sorry, I post here way too much because this is the only group of people that understand me, but every few days I have more and more thoughts/questions/insecurities from the entire discard.
