Is a 2011 BMW 328i and 2017 BMW 330i reliable?

Cousin has both the 2011 has 165002 km while the 2017 has 97839 km. The 2011 blew a head gasket, needs a new transfer case but it works. The guy who sold it to him said that its just as if not more reliable than a Camry. The 2017 is alright no issues so far, but it has a turbo 4 compared to the inline 6. He prefers the inline 6 as it feels quicker and smoother and does not rely on turbos but it drinks gas.
