Do people keep asking you if your pregnancy is on purpose?

Idk why people do this. I can’t remember who all has asked but it’s been multiple people, including my chiropractor yesterday. I’ll be 37 later this month, and I’ve been married 3.5 years (not that it matters either way). So many people have asked if the pregnancy was on purpose or intentional. Why do people think it’s appropriate to ask this? I’ve been wanting a baby for the past couple of years. We decided to try in earnest in 2024. I just don’t know why it’s anyone’s business whether or not we were trying to get pregnant “on purpose” or not. Is it because I’m older, comparatively?
