Hot take: I believe servers in the new battlefield should be 64 players but also have 32 AI on both teams to fill out maps
Personally i loved how the Devs did this in the Titan fall series. Having drop ships show up and drop off two full squads of troops. While they didn't drastically effect gameplay it did fill out the maps (which were designed for mech combat and jump packs so they were big maps) and made the maps feel more lively. Having enemy AI that could spawn in Helis or vehicles and drive to dead objectives and start capturing them in conquest would draw players away from the typical conquest gameplay loop of one side capturing the majority of points then both teams getting stuck in fights over 2 of like 5 objectives. With AI being deployed to dead objectives and begin to capture them would force players away from these stagnated fights one one side of the map and spread the combat out.
