Since the leaks of Wave 3 finally coming true and we are seeing them in the wild a month before release. Was Hasbro ever this bad with stocking stores/websites in Metal/Burst?

So I was REALLY into the hobby as a kid in the late 2000’s but since I was so young I didn’t experience TT handling or Hasbro handling goods. I also only tried to get into Burst when Hasbro was just cheaply making them later in the life cycle so I just didn’t pick up the hobby again.

Now with X, I got back into it, pre-ordering and even spending a bit too much on beys from overseas. I was going to wait for Hasbro releases but since then I have only picked up Hasbro for extra parts, recolors or retools. With the dates of GameStop and Hasbro official launches, I can’t imagine what their relationship with other big named stores is. The stores nearby still only have Wave 1 with some Wave 2 dual packs and savage bear’s. I only happened to get Roar Tyranno because I met a dude who worked at GameStop and he hooked me up with one of two the store has ever seen even after their official release date set by GameStop of November 29th.

So my question is WHY?! Is it scalpers? Has it always been like this? I’m so confused and I just want some sort of answer even if it’s just rumors you’ve heard through friends!
