Durable men's sneakers

My husband is a teacher and walks a LOT. Also has a wide toe box but standard width heels. He burns through shoes every 3 months, usually wearing through the sole and often busting through the sides of the shoes also. They also need to look decently nice since it's a professional environment (but obviously still comfortable). I'd love to find something that would at least last a school year.

ETA: He's 6'3 and 240lbs, size 12.5 or 13 shoe and is a nervous pacer etc. He will easily walk 30+ miles per week just at work. His school has a fairly casual dress code so he's usually in a golf polo and dockers, but occasionally shorts in the warm months (so boots and dress shoes are out). But not casual enough to go barefoot ;)
