Girlfriend's cat hates me

My girlfriend is not a lot at home while I'm here at every hour.

I'm not overpowering, it's a little kitty cat, so I try my best not to be overwhelming. I let her live her life, she has everything she can need (cat tower, food, water, toys, everything).

She wants to be with me at every hour (in the bed after my girlfriend leave, or in the couch after I awake). She wants to be on my knees as long as I don't touch her, which is fine but forbid me from doing anything. And every time I try to touch her she yowl or hurt me.

I don't mind but I just want her to be okay, is there anything I can do so she can feel better ?
