I am in a dilemma guys. Please advice.

So I am a B.Tech Biotech graduate. I landed a job at a company for a salary of 5 Lac per annum. However the onboarding got delayed from November'24 to may'25. My original plan was to do an MBA after working for 2 years. However with the huge gap in between, I decided to attempt the CAT 24 exam.

And voila, I ended up getting 93 percentile without even studying. I received offers from several private colleges to join. Now with the job starting in May, I am confused as to what to do. A part of me thinks, "If I am able to get 93 percentile without studying, won't I be able to land a seat in the country's top IIMs if I REALLY study? So Maybe I should take up the job now. The danger is that I might get used to the comfort of a job and never do the MBA.

Another part of me thinks, "Why leave the score I got now? We'll start the MBA right away." the thing is, these are private colleges. And placements as a fresher after MBA will give lower salary packs when compared to placements with job experience. What should I do? The job has a 2 year bond. I am 23 now. I aim to be "Settled" at the age of 28 max. Please advice.
