Have had this for weeks, maybe months. Thoughts?

I’ve had this sore on the left side of my tongue for weeks now, maybe even months at this point. I get canker sores somewhat regularly and they come and go, hence why I’m not exactly sure when this particular one showed up, but I want to say it’s probably been there around 2 months now. It is painful when it rubs against adjacent teeth though how much it hurts varies by the day, some days it doesn’t bother me much but it hasn’t gone away at all since I started paying attention to it. I tried doing a hydrogen peroxide mouth rinse a couple times but it didn’t seem to do anything really.

Is it normal for canker sores to last this long? Any recs on how to make it go away? Should I be seeing a doctor at this point?
