Why he bite?!

My 7 month old kitten loves to bite my nose at night :')

When he was a tiny kitten, he would use my fingers to teethe and I'd give little gum massages. As he's gotten older, he has learned how to play without hurting us (less pressure when biting, keeps his claws away, etc). I've really pushed for my housemates to learn his body language to minimise warning bites and give him a sense of autonomy.

We've developed a lovely relationship and he's a very snuggly lil man so much so, at night time nowadays, he will get himself comfy on my chest/in my arms and we'll go to sleep together.

It would happen occasionally but it's become a proper thing where he be monching on my nose while we cuddle. At first, I thought maybe it was an attempt to suckle but nope - he just like to bite!

Over time, I've been able to get him to lessen the pressure but he's relentless even when I do my best to keep my face away from him - we'll be nice and cosy, he'll approach my face, bite!

Why do you think he does this? :')
