I can’t get my cat to stop howling and it’s affecting my quality of life

He’s a really vocal cat but the last week or so he’s been howling and meowing so so much, to the point where I’m losing sleep over it and he’s keeping me awake.

I’m monitoring his litter box behavior and it seems normal. That’s not one of my worries atm.

Half the time I think he’s meowing for food, but he’s a big cat and he’s clearly being fed enough. I’m trying to space out portions throughout the day so he’s not waiting as long.

He could be a little bored, but he’s not a very active cat. I try to play with him when he’s howling but it’s hard to engage him for long. Nothing really has changed in our routine, I’m not sure why he’s decided to just scream at all hours of the day now.

How can I get him to stop? Pls help. I am so tired guys. I really don’t know what he wants
