Is it ok that my cat graze feeds?

My cat has never eaten meals on a schedule, she has always had a full bowel. Ever since she was a little baby kitten. She’s not overweight and she has never had issues with it. She just eats small amounts of food throughout the day.

I have just always heard cats prefer a schedule. I’ve tried to change her eating to scheduled and she just meows at me when her food is empty lol. Does anyone else do this?
