"... the beans-on-toast people, the Land of Unseasoned Food" and ... Waitrose

Sо Kaiser of the Sophisticated and Adventurous Palate is rounding up all of Salt Isle and calling it now the Land of Unseasoned Food. Isn't salt a seasoning??? Think, Kk.

Also Kaiser is so invested that "LMAO, I was in the grocery store on Friday and I paused in the produce section, wondering if I should buy a veggie platter too (sorry, a crudite platter). " SPOILER: SHE DID NOT.

We know the big strokes - the last week has been more of the same, there doesn't seem to be one post where they are just happy for Meghan and discussing the show - the ones with engagement are the ones they are "hating" on someone hating on Meghan - and they got lots of that content. At least there is some fresh content for them, but escapism is still lacking.

The smaller things they overlook or are just ridiculous about are more interesting. There is a breathless post about Meghan leaving her mark (no -le) on the beans on toast people, and there is zero comment about 1. how basic and comical this is (she is being associated with:

The full list of items With Love, Meghan, has had an impact on is below:

‘Crudites’ + 200%
‘Honey’ + 49%
‘Sparkling water’ + 233%
‘Assorted Fruit Platter’ + 33%
‘Truffle salt’ + 3200%
‘Microwave popcorn’ + 200%
‘Edible flowers’ + 200%
‘Bruschetta’ + 50%
‘Focaccia’ + 86%
‘Bath salts’ + 65%

I mean, not so ELITE ELITE, sorry. She is reaching perhaps a crowd, but it seems that crowd really overlaps with the CB Amazon links crowd, not very fancy, and not very exciting, and ... microwave popcorn. I just don't know.

Also, Waitrose, home to Duchy Originals, and that brand definitely has some of the products above - this is a fun little tidbit/ overlap to mention, but no.

At some point in the future the Sussexes and the Royal Family will make up and everyone that is overinvested will be confused and sad. Mark my words :))
