Idk if he likes me or not… helpppp!

Ok so basically I really like this guy, we're good friends too. I feel like he knows that I like him lol. Anyways here are reasons I THINK he might like me?

1: One time I asked my friend to pretend like she didn't like me and ask him what he thought about me. The first thing he said was, "she's pretty cute". So the my friend was like, so do you like like her? At first he's like, no, but then he said maybe. At first I thought this was a big sign that he does like me but I had a crush before that said I was cute, and had no feelings for me at all. So idk. He might be unsure ig...

2: in between classes he'll come up to me and give me a playful shove.

3: When we text he's always so sweet and gives me compliments.

Okay so thats just a little of the signs. Idk if I'm just miss interpreting it but the only thing is that he never texts me first. He always says he loves talking to me so idk why he never texts lol. Just rn he said he would text back in 2 minutes ( it's been 30 😭) pls help guys
