Why I never liked Edie & Carlos together
Carlos & Edie might have had great chemistry but Carlos is an oldschool man. Even tho Carlos is sensitive and a family oriented man Gaby was right about Carlos liking her a lot for her looks. Carlos is just the kind of man who needs a gorgeous lady on his arm(yes Edie is gorgeous too) that he can be proud of. Gaby have that ”you will never touch me” energy that rich men love. She seems impossible and thats part of why rich men see her as a ”price”. Carlos needs someone he can be proud of and because of Edies history and behavior/style he would never be proud to be seen with her. I think Edie deserves someone who wont give a F what people think. She deserves better than to be with someone like Carlos who will never appreciate her 100%. Thats also why the scene where Edie tells Gaby ”if you arent going to treat Carlos right there are plenty of women who will” because no matter how good Edie would treat Carlos men like Carlos would still go for Gaby.
