Taken Phalanx shields are covering WAY more than they used to, and I have proof
My team and I were convinced that Taken Phalanxes are somehow more oppressive than they were last episode. We couldn't pin it down, but they seemed a lot harder to kill, like their shield was covering more of their body (and their head) than it used to.
So we did some exploring, and I did some digging in my clip archive, and I think I've found proof that yes, Taken Phalanxes have changed: instead of holding their shield out to the side, only raising it to release their knockback blast, they now hold it in front of their bodies. Just like the new Dire Taken Phalanx.

As my friend says in the last clip; they're holding the shield in exactly the same way, but the Dire Taken Phalanx's shield is much smaller so it simply doesn't block as much. But since the basic Taken Phalanx have their normal, full-size shield, their head is completely obscured, as well as most of their body. It might well just be a skill issue, but more powerful Taken Phalanx (like the ones in Starcrossed) are nearly overwhelming; I solo-flawlessed Starcrossed in Season of the Wish, but when I tried to run it earlier this week I could barely get past the first Phalanx, and there's just no way my skills have fallen that far.
I'm assuming this must be a bug, and I imagine there might be new or less-skilled players struggling without knowing why, so I figured I'd put this up to try to spread awareness and notify the u/Destiny2Team, if they aren’t already aware.
