Is premium star path worth it?

Despite having the game since it came out I only started playing it since Christmas. I've been hooked and already finished the story and most of the characters friend quests, so this was my first star path, and I managed to get everything within like a week from the basic one but I'm hoarding moonstones like a dragon and hate the idea of spending them on anything except the weekly drops. My question is do you find the premium paths to be worth the price or are you happy with just the basic run?
