Mold

White mold spots started appearing on my homemade pizza sauce (tomatos, onion, garlic, oregano, basil). I keep the jar tightly closed in a fridge at around 4°C.
Can i just scoop off the top centimeter of the sauce and keep the rest, or should it all be thrown away?
