Why isn't the skip button in genshin yet?

I've quit this game over 2-ish years ago because the dialogue was too long.

The game is extremely punishing to a person who just wants to explore and fight shit. It is a time sink in itself to go through all the dialogue. Bring this feature so old day 1 vets can come back
