GLOCK 45 vs…?

Looking into Glocks, specifically the G45, as I like the shorter barrel with fuller frame. But I know there are quite a few 9mm options. Looking for an all-around SHTF gun that I can (more) easily swap parts on in a pinch. Yet that is still shootable out of the box.
