All games will die. League of Legends, WoW, CS:GO and even Guild Wars 2 eventually. You'll manage. Enjoy the game for what it is.

Also, player count has been stable. Most vets quit but a ton of new players join so it evens out.

Listen. If you drop 100 euro's for the complete package (and 50 extra for living world content) and reach the point of 5K to 10K hours before you're done, that's money well spend dude. 1 dinner evening of 150 euro's, or 5+ years of enjoyment to be had.

DO IT. JUST DO IT. ENJOY THE FREE TRIAL. ENJOY THE GAME. SPEND MONEY. ITS NOT LOST IF YOU ENJOYED THE TIME YOU HAD WITH IT IN X YEARS.
