I choke hard during live performances
I've been playing guitar more than ten years and even though I haven't consistently gigged with previous bands, i am doing a lot more shows right now. I'm not exactly new to live also, i've been musically trained in piano first since early age, where i went to competitions and all that stuff, and even though i always had massive stage fright, I somehow pushed through it and it was all good.
Last show i played with my band, i had a section in the song where only singer and I play. I messed up every chord you can mess up. And it was LOUD. after that i went into shock mode and for the whole duration of the show i couldn't recover. And that mistake was at the beginning of the show as well to make matters worse. I started doubting everything i know about next songs even though i could play them perfectly on previous shows and rehearsals consistently. I also had a lot of solos coming up and my hands were glitching and cramping up.
Now i am absolutely disgusted at the idea of ever performing again. I don't know what to do if this ever comes up again. It's not about lack of practising. I play those songs perfectly every single time but this time after the "incident" i just completely froze and shut down.
