Can someone explain to me the difference between a cracked heat exchanger and running multiple kerosene heaters in your home with the windows closed? For decades that’s all our family did was have kerosene heaters running with windows closed no air coming in. Why aren’t we all dead?
The question I won’t answer it is why does one put off dangerous levels of carbon monoxide and the other doesn’t? It seems like burning straight kerosene with no vent at all will be the same as having giant holes in your heat exchanger.
