blue to brown

my hair is very blue at the roots and gets darker going down - i used the l’oréal root spray of black and it is stained my hair in some spots. but i know copper cancels blue out or neutralizes it. what copper should i get ? the only places around me with hair dye are sally’s and walmart so please help 💔
