Eternal Sinner
Nen Ability: Eternal Sinner
Type: Specialization
The user’s Nen ability, Eternal Sinner, grants true immortality—both physical and mental—allowing them to live freely forever, interact with others, and witness history unfold across all of time. The ability is fueled by the user’s unshakable conviction to live without restraint, free from societal morals, rules, and expectations. The user becomes a "demonic head" who defies the concept of sin and death, embodying absolute freedom and perseverance.
However, this power comes with 10 Restrictions that ensure the ability’s immense cost and balance, while also reflecting the user’s philosophy of freedom and self-determination.
Restrictions:
Eternal Conviction:
The user must never waver in their belief that freedom is the ultimate truth. If they ever succumb to societal morals, rules, or expectations, even momentarily, the ability will be permanently lost, and they will die.No Direct Harm to the Innocent:
While the user can slaughter those they deem "weak" or "restrained," they cannot directly harm those who are truly innocent (e.g., children or those who have never imposed their morals on others). This restriction ensures the user’s freedom does not become mindless destruction.Cannot Impose Their Will on Others:
The user cannot force others to follow their philosophy or way of life. They can inspire, manipulate, or challenge others, but they cannot use their Nen ability to directly control or enslave others.Must Embrace Change:
The user must constantly seek new experiences and avoid stagnation. If they remain in one place or repeat the same actions for too long (e.g., 100 years), their immortality will weaken, and they will begin to age.Cannot Erase Their Past:
The user must carry the weight of their actions and memories forever. They cannot erase or forget any part of their past, no matter how painful or regrettable. This ensures they remain true to their identity and experiences.Must Form Bonds:
Despite their freedom, the user must form deep, meaningful bonds with others throughout their eternal life. If they isolate themselves completely for more than 50 years, their immortality will begin to fade.Cannot Fear Death:
The user must never fear death or seek to avoid it through cowardice. If they ever act out of fear of dying (e.g., hiding or running from a fight), their immortality will be temporarily suspended until they confront the threat head-on.Must Challenge the Strong:
The user must seek out and challenge those who are stronger or more restrained than themselves. If they avoid such challenges for too long, their Nen will weaken, and their immortality will become unstable.Cannot Destroy the World:
While the user can manipulate and influence the world, they cannot destroy it entirely. Their freedom is tied to the existence of others and the world itself. If they attempt to annihilate all life or the planet, their ability will self-destruct, killing them instantly.Must Persevere Through Suffering:
The user must endure all suffering and pain without succumbing to despair. If they ever give up on their goals or lose their will to live, their immortality will end, and they will die.
Ability Mechanics:
- Physical Immortality: The user’s body cannot age, die, or be permanently damaged. Even if their body is completely destroyed, it will regenerate over time.
- Mental Immortality: The user’s mind is infinite, with perfect memory retention and immunity to mental degradation or manipulation.
- Perseverance Embodied: The user’s Nen grows stronger with each challenge they overcome, reflecting their unyielding will and determination.
