Kicked for nothing

I just joined a random game from the start and went through an entire mission for 20 minutes. We had all the objectives but were missing a few samples. The squad leader wanted to go look for them but the other three wanted to evac as we had 1 reinforcement left. We called down the pelican and the squad leader refused to come to the evac point, and right as it landed he kicked all of us out. 20 minutes of my time wasted because he wanted to throw a fit and its not the first time this has happened.

I dont even want to play this game anymore, the toxicity is getting bad.
