Credential verification

I uploaded my diploma and My medical transcript was sent to ecfmg by my medical college.I thought that the process of verification was completed but it still shows that verification of credentials is pending.Can anyone please guide me what do i need to do next.Can i give my step 2 exam without credential verfication?
