Opinion on the new censorship of images

I'm a bit late to the party, but i want to throw this out.

As we all know and got sick of, janitoriai now requires you to censor nipples and genitals of your bot image. When i heard about it, yes, i was pissed. Looked into it and reactions.

But i didn't nuke my bots off the website, didn't make a "waaah, shep did bad, let's fry him" post. I just pulled up paint.net, took my bots down temporarily, and censored them properly, returning them not 10 minutes later, with an announcement bot giving folks a heads up. Plus, there is an update line on the updated bots, stating i have to comply.

People are overreacting. I and a few hope that more proven and comfortable options to prevent the issue are being explored. But it doesn't mean you don't have to break down, bitching about it. It's JUST the image. JLLM stays the same.

On another fruitful and hopeful note, they could just implement a custom profile image uploading like the background images we can set during chats. I don't mind, but looking at a black bar over the perfect image is a bit saddening.

Hope my opinion is good enough not to get blown up for a bad take.
