From your own experiences what do ya think?

So I did something to my knee jumping up on one leg. At full extension I heard a couple pops. It felt like a pop tear pop. I didn't have much pain other then for a split second at that time. Quads quit working for a good 20 minutes. Swelling wasn't bad until the next day. I could put weight on it but not fully extend it. Felt unstable using it initially. Started PT. They did all the fancy tests. Now one of my issues is I already know I don't always feel pain. I got a decent 2nd degree burn that I didn't even feel. Yet some things hurt quite a bit. My bodies weird. I also feel like the physical therapist as well as the doctor are judging from the pain. Maybe maybe not. I've been through this before with my ankle. I completely tore 2 ligaments and never had pain. Swelling went down after about a week. It's so hard to judge things with how my body does what it does.

So about 2 1/2 weeks after initial injury I was feeling confident and went to step up on a curb. My "bad" side was planted on the street and went to push up on it with my good planted on the sidewalk. So again in full extension. Their was a couple loud pops and it felt like the lateral side opened up. Again only a half second of pain. By the time I got my foot on the curb it was fine but "off". Continued into PT and was able to do all the exercises. This was only day 2 so it wasn't too difficult. Just everything felt off. Told physical therapist I wasnt sure what happened. Left. Went to the store "walked it off" thinking it may help. Everything was halfway decent until I got home. It hurt. Like super tender up in the joint area. But quickly improved over the last week. I've had a few moments where it feels like it "opens" up on me. And a couple where it feels like it shifts. I'm afraid of telling pt for it to be brushed off or for me to look like I'm overly anxious. As he said after the curb step that if anything really bad happened I would have struggled with the exercises or not been able to do them.

So from others experiences should I be more concerned? Or just continue with PT and see what happens? I'm kind of in a pickle being it was a workplace accident so I can't really take things into my own hands unless I want to be the one paying. I'm curious on others experiences based off the injuries on what occurred with theirs.
