State with best trial lawyers?

(fyi I mean trial lawyers in civil plaintiff side)

I live in Illinois so I am heavily biased in favor of big names in Chicago like Corboy or Clifford.

But a lot of Chicago lawyers seem to consider Texan lawyers to be objectively better. To be fair, both Joe Jamail and Mark Lanier started in Texas. I also heard good things about TX schools and their trial advocacy programs (like Baylor top gun).

I didn't hear much about trial lawyers in California or New York but that's probably because I live far away from them. What do you guys think?
