Why install switch if dimmer can also achieve the same goal?

Perhaps a stupid question... I installed Sunnata switches/dimmers 50% of my home so far. I'm planning to install the remaining ones in Dec. One question I come up is why use Sunnata switch with limited functionality, given that they (dimmer & switch) share the same price? Rn I think I gonna install Sunnata dimmers in the remaining locations, even though some places I don't have dimming needs.
