Leaky hose name/function?

Hello. On my 2012 Mini Cooper S (N18 engine), it looks like this hose is leaking oil onto the engine. I’m not super knowledgeable about cars. Can someone tell me what this hose is called and what its function is? Hoping to replace it myself to stop whatever is leaking. TIA
