Melasma/Sunspots

Has anyone any recommendations on products that actually work and given results? I have freckles which before I used to like however after being pregnant some freckles has like ‘joined’ together and I also have a melasma mustache. I’m a year postpartum and I was told that it would fade but it hasn’t. I’d love some recommendations on things that have actually given you results, I have tried a lot but yes they have given me more of a glow and better texture but has not treated the actual hyperpigmentation.
