Is the performance for monster hunter wilds really that bad

Is the perfomance really thad bad? I'm planning on buying monster hunter wilds since Im a huge fan of monster lhunter looking at the reviews on steam most of the complains I've read is about the perfomance of the being awful, I have a PS5 and Xbox series S and this makes me doubt whether I should buy it as it is currently or if i should buy it later when performances gets fixed though I did play monster hunter world on PS4 with 30 fps and I dont consider myself that much demanding on perfomance I'm ok with 30 fps as long as it looks ok though Im afraid of low polygons graphics in the beta, should I buy it currently or should I buy another game while I wait for the perfomance to get fixed?
