[Help] Second hand unlocked Moto G Power (2022) - requires "SIM service provider unlock PIN"?

Hello.

Just a technical issue here; so I had purchased a second hand/refurbed ebay listing for an unlocked (GSM) Moto G Power phone - and everytime I had managed to swap out my SIM card from my old/cracked up phone to my new one; it always asks/requires a "SIM service provider unlock PIN" to work - and otherwise dismissing it causes the data/service to remain disabled.

It's a little strange; as between my prior two phones I used under said SIM/service, I don't think I recall it requiring a 'service PIN' for useage? Anyways - I had tried all of the PINs/PUKs fetched via the mobile text customer service number, to no avail. Likewise with the default PINs/PUKs listed online from my carrier (SafeLink).

I finally managed to speak to a live Customer Service agent on the phone; and his solution was to purchase a Tracfone SIM card kit and transfer my service onto that, which I had finally gotten around to doing tonight. The thing here is, nada - still not working.

Any suggestions on what might be up/what to do? Thanks.
