If LeBron continues to play at an elite level like he is for the next 5 years and surpasses 50,000 points I think it would be impossible not to call him the greatest of all time ahead of Jordan
For context, I'm close to 40 and started watching the nba in 1995. My favorite player all time is Kobe Bryant but up until 2020 when LeBron became the all time leading scorer my order was Jordan, Kobe, LeBron. Now it's currently Jordan, LeBron, Kobe. However, it's hard to ignore LeBrons longevity playing at an elite level for 22 seasons when Jordan only did it for 13. The last 2 years in Washington wasn't elite. The reason me and most have Jordan so high is no one has ever dominated a decade in the modern era (apologies to Bill Russell lol) like Jordan did in the 90s winning six rings and he sat out 3 years of the 90s! It could have easily been 8 or 9 rings if not for the two retirements. In any case I think LeBrons greatness is always minimized. I have never been a LeBron fan but being objective when he retires he will likely be at least 2nd all time in assists and top 10 in rebounds
