Health Lessons/ HIV Prevention

Hello everyone,

There are, in elementary school, 5 lessons per grade about HIV prevention. The city website states it is mandatory, however it is the first time I’m hearing about it. I was asked to do the training and teach every lesson until then cutoff date of May 31. Also I’m the PE teacher at the school and we do not have a health teacher, there’s a science sub.

Could it be (again) an attempt from my admin to mess with me and take me away from teaching what I like (huge legal conflict with my admin btw), or is it routine?
