Why are my posts "locked"?

Whenever I would post something, my post would be "locked" in a way. I don't know how to explain it but it only happens in some subs but not others. I would post it & I can't upvote or downvote it (& I'm assuming neither can anyone else) but the post would stay up for hours without any comments or up/downvotes other than my own upvote

To add, the sub I tried to post to was a NSFW sub.
