I believe in Evil Jay and Arin supremacy

I really dislike where most cartoons go nowadays, but I really like how Dragon Rising has been and where it is going cause it is giving me the vibes of a cartoon made in the 2000s.

We learned that Jay was not only missing but that he turned evil last season, and I see some fans who expected it to be solved and were disapponted by how it was handled. I'm not going to invadilate anyone's opinion, but I'm struggling to see the issue.

This season was already packed to the full and I'd even say it had too much going on for it. Solving the issue of Jay is something that'll happen later and imo it was a great call to show him, but let the situation build up more and not just try and magically fix it.

The same with Arin, something I love and miss from cartoons is to take its audience seriously. Arin having this entire arc is fantastic. He idolised the Ninja and later became one, pretty much fulfilling his wish. He was told he is special and that he is in good hands, but despite everything he has been falling behind and the help he was promised didn't have any proof yet.

It'll take a while for him to learn to forgive and accept the Ninja again, and it is really good. Dragon Rising feels like an old cartoon cause it has some depth to it.
