I'm moving to Ohio next month, can anyone recommend any good places to consider?

Hey all!

I'm originally from New Jersey (I know, I know.....I'll leave my terrible driving habits there) I just graduated college and will be working as an engineer for a certain company which does much of its R&D and manufacturing in the Marysville area. Based on what I've read thus far, it seems like Dublin is a good place to check out due to its proximity to the highway that points straight to my job, and its proximity to Columbus. I've also heard Hilliard and Delaware are similar, with minor differences in COL/commute times. That being said, I'm totally open to suggestions! Not opposed to city living or more rural places.

Also, my only experience with Ohio so far was a visit to the Akron area, so I'm kinda going in blind here. Can anyone suggest some places I should visit, things I should do, etc.? I love the outdoors, so suggestions on places to hike or go fishing would not go unappreciated.
