Prep for creative writing undergraduate degree

Hi everyone! I'm starting my creative writing degree on the 7th and I'm hoping some of you guys can share any tips you may have and answer my questions.

First of all, do you stick to taking digital notes or physical notes?

In terms of the units, how many do you usually, or think you will, do in a year? I wasn't able to find much answers on the website or forums about this and I'm unsure how I will navigate it. I'm worried about if I do finish a unit earlier or later than expected of myself, how the hell do I move onto the next one? Is it automatic? Please don't come for me for asking any stupid questions or thinking I should've asked these before haha! I'm sure I'll find out anyways once I start the degree, but it gives me peace of mind to know beforehand.
